Edsa Shangri-La, Manila, the country’s only five-star deluxe city resort convention hotel, honors all fathers on June 20 with offers at its restaurants and lounges, as well as at CHI, The Spa.

The Barako Coffee Treatment at CHI includes a body scrub and massage using ground barako coffee and muscovado sugar to exfoliate the skin and stimulate skin cells. The treatment is priced at P3,999 net for one hour and 30 minutes.

At Heat restaurant, families may celebrate over a wide selection of international favorites available at over 10 interactive kitchens, complemented with free-flowing tea, coffee, juices, soft drinks and Moet et Chandon champagne.

For a more indulgent experience, diners may choose a four-course lunch or a five-course dinner at Paparazzi, the Italian restaurant.  

At Summer Palace, the Chinese restaurant, fathers are treated like kings with a grand lauriat that has a choice of eight or nine courses for lunch or dinner.

At the Lobby Lounge, families may choose to have Filipino afternoon snacks amid classical music. The merienda buffet is available from 4 to 6 p.m. at P800 per set.

For fathers who have a sweet tooth, special Father’s Day cakes are available at The Bakeshop, with a choice of coffee chocolate opera, black forest or rum chocolate flavors, for only P1,200 each.
