Go places with Reader's Digest Asia
MANILA, Philippines - Reader’s Digest Asia’s journalists have put together a travel guide fea-turing some out of the way places and unforgettable experiences such as Bhutan’s high attitude delights in winter; the tranquil Ko Lanta in Thailand; West Timor’s pristine beaches in the off-season; and the sophisticated delights of India’s Sikkim, evoking the elegant days of the Raj.
Reader’s Digest Asia continues its travel theme through the issue and celebrates the wonderful gastronomic delights that await the canny traveler. Many people are starting to travel to “destination hotels,” where they can both stay overnight and enjoy delicious meals. Sadly these places are often well kept secrets.
A Reader’s Digest global survey of 15 countries found an average of 68 percent of people globally would tie the knot again with the same person. Most happy together were the Chinese (followed by the Philippines), with 83 percent of respondents happy to remarry their partner. Most mismatched was Malaysia where 48 percent of the men surveyed would untie the knot if given the chance. The full survey results are published in the April edition of Reader’s Digest Asia.
