There's another world out there

MANILA, Philippines - Do you want to learn more about the world? The Youth for Understanding (YFU) International Student Exchange Program announces its search for high school students to go to the US, Japan and countries in Europe like Germany, Greece, Hungary, Estonia, and the Netherlands.

Applicants must be l5 to l7 years of age, have average to excellent grades, be in excellent physical and mental health and financially capable of shouldering all program expenditures such air transportation, insurance, allowance, etc. This is a one academic year program for school year 2010-11 and students will be enrolled and will attend classes regularly. Students will be staying with host families and will be participating in community activities. In other words, total participation and immersion in a foreign culture.The YFU program specifically aims to prepare students for their responsibilities, opportunities and challenges in an interdependent ever-changing world.
