Time to play at Resorts World in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - The newest place to play in Asia — Resorts World at Manila — recently opened to gamers and leisure enthusiasts for all-day fun and entertainment.

Taking part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony were VIP guests like Andrew Tan, chairman of Alliance Global Inc.; Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, chairman and chief executive officer, Genting Group; Efraim C. Genuino, chairman and CEO of Philippine Amusement; and Gaming Corporation and BIR Commissioner Marcelino Libanan. The Bureau of Immigration participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Also present were David Chua, chairman and CEO of Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc.; Thuy Trinh, CEO of Resorts World at Manila, Kingson Sian, president of Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc., Peter Foster, EVP of Resorts World at Manila, and Rafael Francisco, President and CEO of PAGCOR.

Distinguished guests and personalities were spotted enjoying the various gaming facilities while others treated their taste buds to a wide variety of dishes from Mercado, Noodle Works and Bar 360.

Guests were also treated to world-class entertainment with spectacular performances from Resorts World at Manila’s foreign and Filipino artists, namely belly dancer Janet Nisim; Dasha Relova, Resorts World at Manila’s principal dancer; cabaret-style dance group St. Petersburg Sensation; acrobats from Power Duo; pop girl group Eurasia; music and comedy from 101; powerhouse performances from Sound Authority, Prelude and Xonary.

Resorts World at Manila is a 7.8-hectare leisure and entertainment complex across Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Pasay City. It is currently open to guests 21 years old and above. It is a joint venture of the Philippine conglomerate Alliance Global Inc. and Star Cruises Ltd., Resorts World at Manila redefines the concept of luxury to make Metro Manila a must-visit destination in Asia.
