Mandarin Oriental has new GM
MANILA, Philippines - Mark Bradford has taken over the helm of Mandarin Oriental, Manila effective this month.
In this capacity, Bradford oversees the management of one of the city’s leading luxury hotels, with 442 guest rooms, and seven restaurant and bars.
Bradford has held senior management positions with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in the last eight years.
He was most recently general manager of the Group’s first luxury hideaway retreat, Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai, a position he held for four years.
Bradford also served as hotel manager of Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok and occupied several food and beverage positions at various luxury hotels in Thailand, Singapore and France.
Andrew Hirst, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s operations director for Asia, said, “Mark brings with him many years of international luxury hotel management experience and we are delighted to have him at the helm in Manila.”
Bradford, a Swiss/British national, holds an MBA in Hotel Management from Lausanne Hotel Management School in Switzerland. He speaks three languages: English, French and German.
