Open to professional and amateur photographers, the Boracay Lifestyle Photo Contest is on until Aug. 30. New and old photos on scenery, people, events, architecture, island life and other subjects that capture the "Boracay lifestyle" may be submitted as entries.
Entries must be printed in 8" x 10" photo paper from a digital source or film format, either in color or black and white.
To join, participants must accomplish a Boracay Lifestyle Photo Contest entry form to be submitted with their entries on or before Aug. 30, to Fuentes Publicity Network Inc., Unit 6-D Cypress Gardens Condominium, 112 Herrera st., Legaspi Village, Makati City.
Entries will be judged according to relevance (40 percent), composition, balance and creativity (25 percent) and visual impact (35 percent). Winners are required to submit the negatives or digital files of their entries.
Three winners will be selected and will win the following prizes: Grand prize – P15,000 cash and four-day, three-night stay in Boracay for two, with accommodation at the Sun Village Beachfront, inclusive of round-trip airfare and land transfers; second prize – P10,000 cash and four-day, three-night stay in Boracay for two, with accommodation at the Sun Village Beachfront, inclusive of round-trip airfare and land transfers; and third prize – P5,000 cash and four-day, three-night stay in Boracay for two, with accommodation at the Sun Village Beachfront, inclusive of round-trip airfare and land transfers.
Winning entries and other selected entries will be used in the publication of the book The Boracay Lifestyle, with appropriate credits.
Participants can send in as many entries as they want. In the event that a participant wins more than one prize, he or she shall receive only the bigger prize.
