MANILA, Philippines — A Feng Shui expert said the upcoming Year of the Wood Snake will encourage people to be patient and adaptable.

Banking company EastWest invited Feng Shui expert Patrick Lim Fernandez for a series of sessions to give clients insights on economic trends and guidance through the lens of Feng Shui.

The first sessions were held in two hotels located in Metro Manila and will continue in events in Cebu, Davao, and Pampanga.

"Feng Shui provides a lens to understand the flow of opportunities in the year ahead," Fernandez explained. "It's about creating harmony between your plans and the environment to open doors to success and prosperity."

Fernandez said the upcoming Year of the Snake encourages patience, strategic networking, and adaptability. He also gave suggestions how to align with the year's favorable energies.

Key changes are to utilize Southeast and North areas of one's home or office to activate prosperity. He also advised to declutter spaces and to incorporate water elements for flow and harmony. Fernandez said that blue or green color schemes enhance growth and stability.

EastWest's Chief Investment Officer Bede Gomez gave a comprehensive analysis of the current economic climate, focusing on trends and opportunities, shaping the 2025 financial landscape during the session.
