Rajo marks 20 years in fashion
MANILA, Philippines - Rajo Laurel recently celebrated his 20th anniversary in fashion, and Metro magazine, together with The Lifestyle Network, honored the designer with a show entitled, "Samsung Metrowear Icon: Rajo Laurel." The tribute show featured a new collection that highlights his design aesthetic, including his bridal creations and his modern cocktail dresses, evening ensembles, menswear, and couture pieces.
Rajo has built a name for himself as a fashion designer who explores the world of style in its varied forms. From haute couture, retail, menswear, women’s wear, accessories, a ready-to-wear line, shoes, and bags, his creations have been worn by the most beautiful ladies and the most dapper men.
Rajo has been the choice designer to dress local celebs like Anne Curtis, Ruffa Gutierrez, Sarah Geronimo and Charlene Gonzales, as well as society’s A-listers, who have worn his creations on and off the red carpet. From the modern terno and elegant gowns, his designs command attention.
Spotted at the show were the likes of John Lloyd Cruz, Georgina Wilson, Isabelle Daza, Bianca Gonzalez, Divine Lee, Tweetie de Leon Gonzalez, and Supreme’s editor and creative director, Tim Yap.
