A master class on alternative storytelling
MANILA, Philippines - Attention film students! Learn the secrets of non-linear storytelling, and get behind such alternative classics as Amorres Perros, City of God and 500 Days of Summer, among others.
With guest speaker Ricky Lee, critically acclaimed scriptwriter of Himala, Moral, Brutal, and Jaguar, Amor Olaguer will teach the four-day intensive session on March 2,3,9 and 10 at the UP College of Mass Communication, UP Diliman. The class is open to the public.
Amor is the line producer of Engkwentro, winner of the Luigi de Laurentiis and Orizzonti Prize at the Venice Film Festival, and the creative consultant for Ploning, the Philippine entry to the 81st Academy Awards. She was also a senior lecturer at UP Film Institute and former creative consultant and head of Production and Creative Training Department at Star Cinema.
