MANILA, Philippines - It has always been my dream to be like an Oprah or an Ellen, with my own TV show, talking to people, discussing issues and giving out gifts to studio audiences. While that dream is on its way to coming true, I couldn’t help but preempt myself by doing this over the holidazed season. Mega Tweets of Christmas became the daily countdown of tweets and treats this side of Twitterverse.
It was indeed a Decemblur to remember as soon as the month hit its first day. From there on till the 25th, a daily dose of Mega Tweets started by noon commenced with a gift giving announcement and by dinner time became the daily and nightly routine. It was a challenge monitoring thousands of entries each day, what with some people making it a habit to flood our (me and my Santa partner @smmegamall ) e-mails as we gave away major, major prizes, daily and nightly! And yes, may I add that we trended a couple of times on Twitter, too?
Santa Tim (that’s me!) and SM Megamall gave away P20k shopping sprees in stores, feasts for families, years worth of your favorite things, and more. Yes, we also gave away a trip for two to HK Disneyland. Giving made me feel the Christmas spirit even more! Come New Year’s, it was time for me to meet my Mega YAP4GRABS winners.
It happened last week at SM resto HK Choi. It was like a class reunion of like-minded people who went there to feast over yummy Chinoise fare, take pictures of each other, trade stories and get to know each other.
A table full of MEGA YAP4GRABS winners and another table filled with PhilStarSUPREME stalwarts, what more can I ask for? It was the perfect gathering filled with inspiration and action to get me started for the year. I love my Mega Fam bam!
