MANILA, Philippines - Jewelmer recently launched Jewelmer Joaillerie’s spring/summer collection with an anticipated gala hosted by Daphne Oseña-Paez.
The Philharmonic Orchestra, led by maestro Rodel Colmenar, played sweeping compositions at the event. Ballet Philippines’ principal dancers Carissa Adea and Richardson Yadao also gave rousing performances, as did vocal powerhouse Ima Castro. The backdrop was a sumptuous theater setting mounted by Robby Carmona and his team at Saga Events, who melded the performing arts with fine jewelry.
Top designers Rhett Eala, Patrice Ramos-Diaz, and Randy Ortiz staged a fashion show featuring bespoke designs inspired by Jewelmer Joaillerie’s spring/summer 2013 collection. Models floated down the runway wearing dramatic creations taking off from the golden South Sea pearl. The highlights of the show included the spring/summer 2013 collections of Via Rosa, Dolce Rosa, Tropics, Vitta, and the Pelagia rings. With a dramatic tableau to close the show, it was a return to the old world appreciation of fine jewelry — except, translated today for the modern woman in a scintillating celebration of life.
Jewelmer also previewed the Jewelmer Platinum MasterCard powered by PNB and Allied Bank. It is the first jewelry line co-sponsored card in the world and offers a host of premium services for its exclusive clientele. The luxury credit card will be available later this year.
Gastronomic delights of Cibo di M by Margarita Fores and libations by Belvedere and Grand Marnier were served as guests mingled and enjoyed a night of music and dance. A surprise treat was in order for the evening, as Jewelmer’s own Jacques Christophe Branellec showcased his talent on the saxophone alongside the Philharmonic Orchestra.
With an updated brand direction and much to celebrate over the years, the Jewelmer family and their guests lingered after the show, continuing the night to the beats of DJ Manolet Dario for an affair to remember.
