A dose of Petrol

- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Utilitarian denim brand Petrol Jeans recently opened its doors in Manila with a launch held last Sept. 10 at the SMX Convention Center. Hosted by Borgy Manotoc and Isabel Roces, the event was graced by an eclectic mix of personalities, including Raymond Gutierrez, Tessa Prieto-Valdez, Tweetie de Leon, Phoemela Baranda, Kelly Misa, Maritoni and daugther Lexi Fernandez, Alyanna Martinez, Henri Calayag, Divine Lee, Shamsey Supsup, Survivor finalist Kiko Rustia, Sari Yap, Liza Ilarde, Toni Abad, and Philip Cu-Unjieng.

The highlight of the event was a fashion show that displayed Petrol’s new vintage-themed fall/winter 2012 collection for both men and women. The showcase was further enhanced by a 3D presentation as models strutted onstage wearing denim jackets, short-sleeved shirts, shorts, and the signature denim pants emphasizing the brand’s latest innovation.

Petrol Jeans is a symbol of self-empowerment for individuals who want to stand out and be themselves. Like the all-power motor of a Camaro — inspired by muscle cars and characterized by rust, grease and dirt details — Petrol reinforces pride and confidence by highlighting the success of heavy labor work in unleashing utilitarian wear with a trendy touch.

As we fast forward into the future, each individual must dive in and take a step forward to individualism. Find Petrol’s fall/winter 2012 collection at all Petrol stores.
