“Pero diba pareho lang yun?”
The lines blurred at the World Trade Center as the venue filled with screaming girls and beckies, all itching to see Cosmo’s wet and oiled up boyfriend buffet strutting (and grinding?) down the runway. Here are what we consider to be the steamy event’s sexiest moments, both on and off stage.
1. Cosmo assistant beauty editor Regina Belmonte got first dibs for the night when a blindfolded Sam Ajdani walked onstage as a sampling of what was to come. She got to manually check out whether he had what it took to be the perfect boyfriend: killer smile, killer hipbones, killer abs, killer personality — all a big check! We think she forgot to check out one very important thing, though: his heart.
2. Eric Tai was the beefiest guy to walk the stage. He was scary at first. Compared to his leaner counterparts, this one looked like could potentially crush a lover in bed. But as soon as he started busting those hips, we blushed and had to look away lest we hyperventilate. Suddenly all we could think about was feeling oh-so-delicate wrapped up between his big arms and chest.
3. Rocco Nacino, with the words “Eat Me” written in big bold letters on his back, broke out his to-die-for dance moves and then seductively knelt at the edge of the stage, so that the hungry audience could check out his goods for themselves.
4. Let’s be honest. Magic Mike was an overrated disappointment that was more chick flick than female liberation. The Cosmo Bachelor Bash made it up to us with a live adaptation of the It’s Raining Men production number.
5. Mark Manicad got rid of his briefs and walked the rest of the runway in nothing but a short, flimsy towel — not before revealing the full, bare length from his thighs to his hips to show us he really wasn’t wearing anything underneath. Had this been an outdoor event, a strong gust of wind would have made us all extremely lucky. I mean, you know how the weather has been lately.
6. Because having one sometimes just isn’t enough, the Semerad twins, David and Anthony took to the stage to give us two times their good looks. They even plucked a lucky girl from the audience and simultaneously blew her mind.
7. Mikael Daez fulfilled a girl’s most tender fantasies when he pulled her up onstage, looked deeply into her eyes, and showered her face and neck with kisses. They might as well have been alone in a dimly lit room, except for the fact that the girl couldn’t stop screaming.
8. Ian Batherson brought to life those naughty stripper cop scenes that many have only seen on TV. A girl from the audience got to hold on to his body as he gyrated to the music.
9. The boys were feeling loose and playful at the end of the show, and apparently their preferred expression of these emotions was to show the crowd their behind. While we’re not complaining about this kind of behavior, we think it should have merited a few spanks. It was a full, firm, and peachy-smooth sight.
