Morrissey live in Manila tomorrow!

- Cate de Leon -

MANILA, Philippines - Pinoy fans of the iconic British alternative rock band, The Smiths are in for a blast of good old 1980’s music as frontman, Steven Patrick Morrissey performs live tomorrow at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. As the band’s main lyricist and vocalist, Morrissey is the man behind hits such as, Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want, Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before, and There Is a Light That Never Goes Out. If you enjoyed Tom and Summer’s heart-wrenching non-lovestory while [500] Days of Summer’s elegant and understated soundtrack played in the background, this could also be for you.

The announcement of Morrissey’s world tour caused a frenzy, with tickets in Japan being sold out and concert organizers in Singapore having to move to a bigger location to accommodate more fans.   Nothing beats seeing the iconic musician live to hear that very familiar baritone voice and to see his awesome quiff up-close.
