The Angels are landing tonight

-

MANILA, Philippines - A pretty good reason to park in front of your TV screens tonight at 10 p.m. is the Philippine premiere of the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, shown exclusively on Velvet (Sky Cable channel 53). Living up to its reputation as the sexiest night on television, supermodels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Chanel Iman, Lily Aldridge, Doutzen Kroes, Erin Heatherton, Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo, and more strut on the glittering runway wearing only lingerie and embellished angel wings.

Some of the show’s highlights include Miranda Kerr return to the runway after missing last year’s show due to her pregnancy with the distinct honor of wearing the exquisite diamond-and-pearl-encrusted Fantasy Treasure Bra worth $2.5 million. Adorably, her hubby Orlando Bloom cheered her on from the front row. 19-year-old American ballerina turned model Karlie Kloss also makes her debut as the newest Angel in the show, while Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine steals kiss from girlfriend model Anne Vyalitsyna as she struts down the runway. The evening’s musical performances include Kanye West rapping Stronger, and is later joined by Jay-Z on the track Watch the Throne where it’s Beyonce’s turn to whoop from the sidelines. Nicki Minaj closes the show with the dance anthem Super Bass during the acid-hued Club Pink collection.
