Eastwood: A city of Christmas
MANILA, Philippines - Tick the boxes on your Christmas wish list with Eastwood’s wonderful roster of holiday events this weekend. Gary Valenciano pumps up the holiday vibe with a concert tonight, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. at Eastwood Mall Open Park. Filling the holiday air with romance is Christian Bautista tomorrow, Dec. 11, also at 7 p.m., his repertoire matching the serene and blissful setting of the park.
Also delighting music lovers is the Eastwood Christmas Chorale Series at Eastwood Mall Atrium on all Fridays and Saturdays of December. This Friday, it’s the Faith Academy Choir’s turn to sing beloved Christmas carols.
Kids have so many things to do, too. There’s no Christmas without good ol’ Santa joining the celebration. So make sure to bring your kids to Eastwood Mall all Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays of December (except Dec. 25), to meet, greet, and sit on the lap of Santa Claus.
Take your little tykes to see the country’s first twin mall mascots, Easter and Woodluck. Meet and greet these adorable cuddly bears after at the Eastwood Mall and Ques-o Christmas Village, Eastwood City Walk 2, amid the wonderful Snow Shower at 8 p.m. Cross the street to Eastwood Mall and witness a grand fireworks display at the Eastwood Mall Open Park and be awed by the play of music and lights bursting in the Eastwood skies. Fireworks displays are held all Saturdays and Sundays of December.
The décor at Eastwood Christmas mall will make your kids say “wow” with the wonderful play of colors and patterns. A huge 60-foot Christmas tree sits at the heart of the city, embellished with over a thousand Christmas balls (be sure to bring your cameras). The Eastwood Mall Atrium is adorned with candy canes and lolli-wheels while the glass doors are decorated with kaleidoscope stickers. The Ques-O Christmas Village in the draws out the child in you with its specially designed life-sized Christmas houses and sporadic Christmas snowfall at Eastwood City Walk 2.
