Reading is about empowerment. With this in mind, Powerbooks gave its Facebook fans a supreme shopping spree treat! How did it work? Every book lover and budding bibliophile alike was asked to submit a photo of themselves with their bookshelves as background. From there, it became a popularity contest, with the most Facebook “likes” winning the PB prize.

So next time you meet someone interesting, instead of asking them “What’s in your bag?” Ask them, “What’s on your shelf?”
