If you bother Googling “Lady GaGita,” “Benzonce,” and “telephone” you’ll be rewarded with the most amazing low-budget parody in the history of amazing low-budget parodies. The masterminds behind this ode to the latest GaGa and Beyoncé collabo? A cryptic collective that only goes by the name Mayaman University.

We really don’t know where to begin. Is it the slick editing? The masterful layering of a panty over a brip? The general audacity of the whole enterprise? Whatever it is — or isn’t — this fairly recent YouTube clip will have more people shaking and crying in the days to come. As for possible follow-ups, we’re putting it out there that we’d totally love to see their take on Ke$ha’s Tik Tok. Or Justin Bieber’s Baby. 

Lindsay Lohan becomes Lindsay LOLhan

It’s not nice to kick a person while he/she is down, but in the case of one Lindsay Lohan, it’s really hard not to. According to Radar Online, the party-hearty “actress” is $600,000 deep in credit card debt. Her last film, Labor Pains, went straight to DVD. Her club appearances net her $5,000 to $10,000 a pop, but the invites have been few and far between. Pretty soon, she’ll be desperate enough to accept paid cameos at your office Christmas party and she’ll probably take your post-dated check. Yes, that’s the word on everyone’s lips. It’s the new evolution of the word ‘jologs,’ even if it sounds like the mentally-challenged sibling of Pokemon. It can refer to Pinoy gangstas or people who type their laughter as jejejejeje. “But the best way to spot one is from the uncomprehensible way they spell when they text,” says Sharon See, stylist for Channel [V]. Pedobear Vs Pedopope?

Easter may be long over, but due to allegations of child abuse by priests, the Catholic Church is still in the news. To ratchet up their PR, their spokesmodel Pope Benedict XVI recently went on a tour of, uhm, Malta. What happened next is the stuff that memes are made of.

“The act of vandalism, where a pedophilic symbol was sprayed on billboards promoting the Pope’s visit, is gaining even more attention on the Internet,” the Times of Malta reports. “Although the graffiti confused the Maltese public, Pedobear, as it is known by avid Internet users, has grabbed the attention of cyberspace as many people seem to be taking pleasure in sharing the story.”

Often posted in tandem with an image of reporter Chris Hansen from NBC’s To Catch A Predator, the mascot is used online to mock adults who exhibit a sexual interest in minors. As forums would have it, the Pope is apparently Pedobear’s “closest competition.” Bieber, you’ve been warned.
