Shout-out your passion and win!
MANILA, Philippines - In the new digital age, becoming an online sensation doesn’t require putting up a video or even listing your life in a blog to show your passion. The next phase is in status messages and shout-outs. What reigns Supreme now is big ideas that are witty, imaginative and K.I.S.S-able (Keep It Short and Simple!). Less is more in making your digital first impression. You are not anymore as beautiful as you look but as what you share and say in an instant, whether it be a phrase, a picture of even a sound bite. Samsung, the leader in digital technology, is celebrating this new phase in web 2.0 with its Samsung I Imagine Shout-Out Making contest.
If you are a 15-to 25-year-old college student in Metro Manila, register and log on to http:/www.samsungimagine.com/ph, click on the banner ad, and post a rock out shout out that can only be written by you. Let passion meet imagination as you show the digital world who you are in a sentence or two. Share with us these three topics that you already are passionate about, that is to Talk, Play and of course, Love. Inspire us with what is inside you by sharing your dreams, hopes, ambitions, ideas, and thoughts. Show us how you celebrate life through music, sports, fashion, and the arts. Lastly, warm our hearts with shouts about how your passion can bring together friends and family together.
Mechanics:
1. Upload your Shout-Out from October 16 to November 20, 2009 on www.samsung.com/ph.
2. Every time you upload a Shout-Out, you will receive a confirmation e-mail through your registered e-mail address. Each confirmation e-mail will have a unique security code to ensure that it is authentic.
3. These confirmation e-mails will serve as proof of entry for the contest. If you win, these will be part of the requirements to claim your prize.
4. If your Shout-out wins, you will be informed through a notification e-mail sent to your indicated e-mail address and via registered mail.
5. Winners must present a valid proof of identification (i.e. passport, school ID, driver’s license or any other ID issued by a government body or duly registered organization), entry and documentation as proof of enrollment for the school year 2009-2010.
6. Prizes for the Shout-out Making contest can be claimed at the Samsung head office at Hanjin Building, 1128 University Parkway, North Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig.
What are the criteria for judging?
40% relevance to the category, 40% creativity, 20% total number of online votes.
Judging of entries will be done on November 30.

You will receive more than a penny for your thoughts and win a prize package that will make both your passion and imagination shout out and come alive!
