2009 L'Oreal Brandstorm national finalists

Best print ad and National champion: Team Bang

MANILA, Philippines – These double-major students bring with them expertise from the fields of marketing, communication, advertising and psychology. Team Bang couldn’t forget the experience of finally having that ah-huh moment while brainstorming for their Maybelline perfume. Now, this energetic and audacious team looks forward to dancing to the tunes of Paris as they face their biggest challenge yet.

Best product design layout and first runner-up: Three Marketeers

These management engineering students braved their way to the national finals as the Three Marketeers. Their most memorable Brandstorm moment was when they unexpectedly won the university finals in face of such stiff competition. Armed with a unique marketing idea, now they’re certain that they have what it takes to go all the way. All for one and one for all!

Second runner-up:

Suavulous

Combining the know-how in business administration and communication research are the members of Suavulous, who believe they are destined to win and gain the prestige of representing their home school and the Philippines in this global competition!

Jig

Forming the initials of their team name are these marketing management students. For JIG, the highlight of the whole Brandstorm experience is the opportunity for them to interact, share ideas, build bonds and become better as one team. With much confidence in their group and their product, the team can almost taste that lasting and euphoric feeling of going all the way to the finals!

Iskolar

Highly excited for this once-in-a-lifetime experience are the three business administration and accountancy students. ISkolar very much enjoyed working with the L’Oreal marketing experts and the ageny professionals throughout the competition as ideas came to life. They assert that they are the national champion already because they are also the international champion of L’Oreal Brandstorm!

 Soleil

Joining the competition without any marketing course experience are three management students who make up Soleil. These young and on-the-go players say they turned their ideas into reality by studying their market well and understanding the world of Maybelline. With their strong aspiration to fly and compete in Paris, indeed for Soleil, the clouds are the limit.
