Which saints do you pray to and why?
MANILA, Philippines - I am where I am today because of my faith in God and prayers. My parents instilled in me the importance of having a daily devotion to my favorite saint for guidance in my daily life and they named my siblings and I after my parents’ favorite saints. Personally, I have a daily devotion to Our Lady of Montserrat.

I pray to St. Anthony a lot because I’m always losing things. Seriously though, he is the patron saint of the parish where I grew up, and I’ve been praying to him since I was a child.
Cary Santiago, fashion designer
Mother Mary. In fact I have a replica of Our Lady of Manaoag in my living room.
Sorsogon Representative Evie Escudero
I have a lot of saints that I pray to depending on needs and circumstances. When I lose or misplace things, I invoke the help of St. Anthony of Padua. On difficult situations and need immediate answers, I seek the help of St. Therese of the Child Jesus. A great saint that I pray to every day is St. Benedict.

Of the many saints I fervently pray to, St. Jude Thaddeus, most Holy Apostle and faithful friend of Jesus is my go-to favorite saint for he is the patron of hopeless cases. St. Jude never fails and somehow, prayers are answered in due time.
Albert Martinez, actor
Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, Saint Padre Pio. A novena of Padre Pio was given to me as a gift back in the early ‘90s.
Rhoda Campos Aldanese, entrepreneur
San Antonio de Padua, Doctor of the Church and Miracle Worker. Not everyone will always have good moments so it is important to be reminded that miracles do happen.
Kai Lim, entrepreneur
I pray to St. Therese. I got the devotion from my mom when I was in high school. She always answers my prayers — sometimes not in the way I prayed and hoped for, but it always works out in the end.
Mario Katigbak, Hermes and Bulgari country manager
I pray directly to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as I have been for a long time. He has never failed me. He grants my wishes one way or the other. His will be done.
Former TESDA Secretary Joel Villaniueva
My family and I live by the teachings of the Bible and pray to the Holy Spirit (Father God, His son Jesus and the Holy Spirit). I personally do my best to strengthen my faith and relationship with our Lord through daily devotion.
