MANILA, Philippines - Kids can get a heightened appreciation for their favorite Cream-O cookie treat as they go behind the scenes at the Cream-O Cookie Factory in KidZania Manila. At the Cream-O Cookie Factory, kids can be cookie engineers and work together as a team, challenging their hand-eye coordination and their ability to follow directions to create delicious and chocolatey Cream-O cookies.

The establishment features kid-sized machines that are specifically designed to simulate the process of making a Cream-O cookie. The machines are child-friendly and give kids an interactive experience when it comes to cookie-sandwich making. Apart from making Cream-O cookies, kids will also get to know a brief history of cookies and find out more about the importance of following hygiene procedures and safety measures in manufacturing these chocolate-y treats.

“We’re very glad to be a part of KidZania Manila in promoting role-playing as a fun and effective way for children to learn about the real world,” said Lance Gokongwei, president and chief executive officer of Universal Robina Corporation (URC). “The kids’ experience becomes even more enjoyable and immersive as the factories allow them to get up close and personal with their favorite brands such as Cream-O.”

Jack ‘n Jill Cream-O is a chocolate cookie brand from URC. The brand also offers a line of delicious snacks such as Cream-O Vanilla, Choco Fudge, Deluxe, Cookies ‘n Cream, Brownie Crunch, Chocoloaded, Crinkles and Chocolate Chip cookies - a dream come true for chocolate cookie lovers.

With 8,000 square meters of play space, KidZania Manila is a mini-metropolis built to scale for kids from ages four to 14.  Apart from the Cream-O Cookie Factory, kids can also visit establishments such as a fire station, salon, supermarket, theater, as well as an urban garden and farmhouse. They can also choose from over 100 careers and live out their dreams of becoming a singer, a newscaster and even a detective.
