JSSP hosts psychedelic retro night
MANILA, Philippines - The Johann Strauss Society of the Philippines (JSSP) will host a “Fun and Dance Event: A Psychedelic Night” on Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the North Forbes Park Pavilion, Makati.
Dance to the music of the ‘60s and ‘70s performed live by the M2 Paparazzi and 92AD bands. Guests are requested to come in their most authentic retro attire and win fabulous prizes. First prize will be a piece of jewelry by Elizabeth Campos.
The events committee is composed of JSSP chairman and Consul General of Monaco Fortune Ledesma, JSSP president Olga Severino Martel, co-chairs Marissa Fenton, Lilibeth Campos and Nini Layug supported by JSSP officers VP Agnes Huibonhoa, secretary Betty Chua, treasurer Virginia Lane, assistant treasurer Fanny Blanco and assistant secretary Ditas Posadas.
Funds raised will be donated to the special projects of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the Psychological Center at Marillac Hills for the rehabilitation of abused children and girls, and the Mother and Child project of Virlanie Foundation.
