Guam Visitors Bureau bags best overall performance award at Travel Tour Expo
MANILA, Philippines - Guam’s Visitors Bureau (GVB) received the best overall performance award at the 22nd Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) Travel Tour Expo held recently at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City
Guam’s exhibit and cultural performance was successful in imparting the US island paradise’s neo-island lifestyle that offers the perfect balance of rich culture, natural island beauty, luxurious resorts and spas, world-class entertainment and duty-free shopping.
“This year’s expo was successful in showcasing our beautiful island of Guam,” said GVB general manager Nathan Denight. “Apart from highlighting our rich culture, tasteful cuisine, exotic beaches and duty-free shopping, we also placed a spotlight on Guam’s line-up of activities for 2015 and the 2016 Festival of Pacific Arts.”
Upcoming events in Guam include the Guam International Marathon (April 12), Guam Micronesia Island Fair (May 15 to 17), Guam Live International Music Festival (June 5 to 6), Shop Guam Festival (Nov. 1 to Feb. 15, 2016), Ko’Ko’ Road Race (Dec. 6), and the 2016 Festival of Pacific Arts (May 22 to June 4, 2016).
