Oil’s well with the world

G Stuff turns one year old on Oct. 28. To celebrate, we are having a sale of our products and launching new ones on Oct. 17 to 19 at the R1 North Court of the Rockwell Power Plant. Do come and celebrate with us. All proceeds are intended to help communities around the country. We are not yet there because two more stores were opened in the past 11 months. G Stuff is now on the ground floor of TriNoma and at the Alabang Town Center (along the Madrigal entrance).?The goal is to break even this year so that by year two, we can fulfill our goal of helping. However, even from the beginning, because the resources come from the communities, we are already helping. The coconut farmers and indigenous people at Brooke’s Point are already reaping the benefits of having a virgin coconut oil (VCO) plant, which was funded by Manny Pacquiao. They don’t have to worry about sales or marketing. We buy everything and they are assured of regular wages. ?This year, we also installed machines that will make gluten-free coconut flour out of the sapal that produces the oil, and soon we will be offering flavored vinegar. We are offering this flour at P85 a kilo. If you come to Rockwell, you will be able to taste cupcakes, cookies, and other goodies which are totally healthy.

Also to be able to keep up with the supply, we are now offering big discounts of up to P1,800 for those who buy the four-liter containers of VCO. At retail prices, the gallon would have amounted to P3,300, but we are offering it at P1,500 only. What to do with all this VCOs??Do like I do. My household staff takes VCO, it’s healthier. It has improved the functioning of my household. I take it from the moment I wake up, or use it as moisturizer, oil pull, and I also take it at night. I just never get sick. And I am already over 60! I have wonderful essential oils that use the VCO as carrier oil. If you want to use the oil for therapeutic purposes, you can buy the high-grade therapeutic 100-percent pure essential oils, which I have been using for the past month.  If you don’t want to spend so much and are just after the scent, we have lower-priced essential oils.

Terra oils are pure-grade therapeutic oils, in my experience, and a level higher than most oils on the market today, which are mostly diluted. Because they are so pure, a drop goes a long way and since I feel energized, I can feel the subtle therapeutic benefits from using the oils. ?Let me share with you some of the testimonials of people whom I have encouraged to use these oils.

DEEP BLUE

• Susan Afan, chief marketing officer of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc. (ALKFI): “I had a stiff neck for two days! The pain literally went away.”

• Mitos Santisteban, my dad’s secretary for 50 years: “I had lower back pain due to a degenerative spine condition. The oil alleviated the pain for the next two days. I wish I could have it applied every two days to relieve the recurring pain.”

• My own experience: After a workout, I invariably come up with aches. The Deep Blue immediately addresses this. It’s amazing! It is even called the Gateway Oil because using it convinces the user to avail himself of all the other oils. ?

LAVENDER?

Once, I mistakenly poured scalding hot water on my hand. I put lavender oil on the area. Lo and behold, the hand stayed totally normal! The next day, I was accidentally burned by my household staff, a tenth of the intensity of the day before. I did not put anything because I was in a rush. Up to now, the scalding still bears its marks two weeks after. ?I put three drops on the soles of my feet and go to sleep inhaling it. My sleep is so much deeper and restful. I inhale it at least 30 times, feel the fumes go to my brain, and the effect is immediate and profound. ?Lavender is also good for wrinkles. ?It also drives away insects. When I was working out over the weekend, my trainer was complaining of mosquitoes so we sprayed lavender water and the mosquitoes went away.  I have tried it many times. Insects don’t like it.?I spray lavender water on my bed sheets and pillows before I sleep and I feel like I am sleeping on a bed of lavender.

My staff’s daughter who has cancer and is in the hospital tried the lavender oil. According to her, the oil did wonders to relax and help her daughter go to sleep. It also relieved her nausea. The Deep Blue oil also relieved her daughter’s back pain in just a few minutes.

FRANKINCENSE?

This is the most expensive of the singular oils.  I put it around my eyes. Karen Atkins, a lecturer and healer, who is guiding me into the use of oils, called it the King of all Oils. I use it around my eye area twice a day because it’s supposed to improve vision and address wrinkles. I haven’t felt that yet, but what I do feel is a strong and profound calming of my energies the moment I put it on. It’s pretty amazing! ??

PEPPERMINT?

This is the oil I use most often. I inhale it throughout the day because it wakes up my brain, clears my nasal passages, and makes me so much more alert. I use it when I go to the esteros so I don’t inhale the waters that still have to be cleaned, or when I walk through areas where people are smoking. I inhale it in the car when I go through Metro Manila traffic and I have noticed that I am not so tired when I go home and can last much later than usual.

My staff, Claire Baclay, says that the peppermint oil instantly relieved her stress, tension, and headache. She also found it cooling and energizing.

PURIFY?

I put this with On Guard in the diffuser to clean the air of the room, or before I sleep. On Guard? takes out bacteria and is great for Metro Manila air. ??

SLIM AND SASSY?

I put 10 drops of this in a 16oz water bottle and drink it throughout the day. What I’ve noticed is that I don’t gain weight even though I overeat. It increases metabolism and acts as a cleanser.

DIGEST ZEN?

I use this after a meal, which had too much oil or starch and it addresses the heaviness. ??

LIFELONG VITALITY PACK?

I just started this two weeks ago. It’s amazing! I have so much more energy now. The reading material says it addresses our body on a cellular level and prevents cancer cells from forming. What I have noticed is, now I can even go on till midnight with untiring energy. I feel happier. In fact, it is supposed to address depression and anxiety. ?They have a product called DDR which some doctors say have an effect on cancer cells such that tumors have diminished in size!?I put the lemon in my bath water. And sometimes, I even put it in my food. ?I use Serenity to calm me.?Elevate takes away sadness and depression and can even be used as a cologne.?I gave marjoram when my household help Rose had a back problem,  and in the afternoon her pain was gone!?Eucalyptus is good for asthma. When I let my HR officer, Megs Dela Cruz, who has asthma, try it, she said she felt so much better.

“After inhaling a small amount of eucalyptus oil, I felt my throat and lung passages open like several ventilators powering up at the same time. The oil was so potent; it made my eyes tear up as well. I have never experienced super clear breathing since the late onset of my asthma in 2012,” says Megs says. ?

Since VCO is a carrier oil, these essential oils are one reason to avail yourself of the budget VCO offer. If you come on our anniversary celebration, you will get handouts on how to use these oils.?I love how the oils have improved my quality of life. I bring the diffuser with me wherever I go. I now sometimes feel like a doktora because the oils seem to be able to cure or alleviate everything, from emotions to physical ailments. I now make my own cologne, my own room spray. They don’t only spruce up the room, they are also emotionally therapeutic. How cool is that??We will have some bottles available if you want to create your own spray and cologne. It’s better not to use plastic and to keep the mixture away from the sun. ?I believe natural is always better. These oils carry the essence of plants and flowers at their most potent form. I like these oils because they are 100-percent natural and organic. They work, and they work fast.?We have a new line called Good to Go, which is very reasonably priced — starting at P80, alcohol-, pesticide- and paraben-free. I love the sampaguita feminine wash. Imagine relieving yourself in the toilet and coming out smelling like sampaguita. I love its cooling effect. The hand sanitizers are alcohol- free.

We also have great budget-priced corporate and Christmas giveaways that can come in a bag woven by the women of Basey. They were hit badly by Typhoon Yolanda so I figured why not market their skills and products, help them with design, and help them get their lives together.

We will also have duck eggs, which families relocated in the Calauan are producing.  I want the revenues from the duck eggs to upgrade their quality of life in a big way. These ducks are free- range and happy, and duck eggs are so much healthier than chicken eggs. You can get the duck eggs fresh or salted.
