MANILA, Philippines - Fashion inspiration sprung from the youth at last weekend’s Ayala Malls' Style Origin in MarQuee Mall, Angeles City, Pampanga, where trendy, casual pieces were presented to an audience of all ages. On day one, Mensweek Fashion took the spotlight and showcased menswear designs from sought-after Filipino designers and on day two, the High Street Fashion show sent looks from both local and international brands down the runway. MarQuee Mall being a popular shopping destination and a chill-out spot in the north, delivered a fitting show of all day casual yet cool, branded and trendy fashion. Held just in time for Father’s Day, Style Origin in MarQuee Mall was also a chance for the community to get together and celebrate the ocassion on a grander scale. The community High Street Fashion show even featured dads and kids walking in tandem down the runway.
Style Origin has been a source of fashion inspiration for shoppers for four years now. Organized annually, it puts together the latest collections from designers and brands for a series of shows at Ayala Malls all over the country. What’s special about Style Origin this year is how it has worked with top fashion editors in isolating trends and presenting them in fresh, interesting ways. This year, it has put together picks from top fashion editors Regina Belmonte of YStyle, Peewee Isidro and Patrick Galang for Mega, Bianca Gonzales and Rainier Dagala of Meg, and Kate Paras and Elaine Carag for Chalk. Held in partnership with The Philippine STAR, Star World, Shokubutsu Hana and Systema Tooth and Gum Care, Style Origin runs until August and will be presenting more fashion, fun and entertainment at an Ayala mall near you.
