‘The Hobbit’ Moleskine Journals return to National Book Store
MANILA, Philippines - Dedicated to fans of Tolkien’s masterpiece, the new notebooks feature reproductions of the author’s original illustrations from the first edition on their covers and, for the first time ever, printed on selected pages inside. The notebooks’ black covers are emblazoned with a metallic red dragon and a debossing of the mystical landscape. The original “JRRT†monogram is marked on the spine, as the red bookmark ribbon protrudes from between the sheets. A little surprise awaits when you detach the paperband to reveal a hidden message from Bilbo Baggins, stirring the nomadic spirit within us all.
The Hobbit Collection is part of the Moleskine Limited Edition series dedicated to contemporary cultural icons including Pac Man, Little Prince, Peanuts, Star Wars, LEGO and the Audio Cassette. The Hobbit limited-edition notebooks are available in plain or ruled, and in pocket (9x14 cm) and large (13x21cm) sizes.
