How do you design your life?

No one can say what one’s future will be. This is why we make dreams  and opportunities to put into action toward what we envision our life to be. When the designs we make for our lives turn out the way we planned, this gives us the chance to aim for a higher goal. And in the event the plans we make for our lives are not what destiny has for in store for us, we just have to accept, pray, continue to build new dreams and  move on with hearts filled with hope that there will always be  something better in store for us. Life will always be great for as long as we live our lives doing God’s will with faith that the best is yet to come!

I believe that life is never simple and it has complications, but having sets of solid and well-formed principles and values that I consider to be my guide, it somehow allows me to make my choices clear. If things go wrong, I simply don’t give up and keep on trying till I succeed in my endeavor.

At my age — 53 — I don’t plan my life anymore. I look inside and feel which direction will give me peace of mind. That’s how I live these days...simply.

Katrina Tantoco Lobregat

As my life has developed, I’ve learned to seek out the value of having a connection to my souls, my angels and my Divine. This comes before anything else. I am grateful to have learned that divine guidance is key and allows me to live my life better with ease, grace, love, compassion and serenity. Being human, it is only natural for us to encounter pain, obstacles and struggles. At the end of the day, all this can be less of a struggle when you involve God. Beyond that is the attitude of gratitude.

I set a calendar for myself and try to make short and long-term goals, and rank them those goals according to urgency. It’s a practical way to make seemingly difficult goals easier to achieve when you break them down into smaller tasks. And having that calendar makes it easier for you to double check if you’re right on track or need to catch up.

I have always believed that you are what you think. Following that line of thought, I try to live my life according to the image that I have in my mind’s eye. Some people call it creative visualization. It’s an ever-evolving process that you can always change anytime to suit your needs and desires.

Bianca Gonzalez, TV host and

columnist

I am passionate about so many things! My work on TV and print media, I love travel, I love being with family and friends, I love being able to collaborate with like-minded individuals with a common goal, and the list goes on. I get to live them out because if you really want to do something, you make time for it.

The awesome thing about the Samsung Note 3 is not only can I multitask the best way possible with the multi-screen and dot circle square, but it also makes it so easy to find and to store little pockets on inspiration I find online and on social media.

Passions in life: my kids, my family, our home, traveling and discovering things. Good food and nice clothes.  Best thing about Note 3—I like it more than the Note 1 and 2. I haven’t lost my pen yet because it reminds you that it’s out. I’ve lost so many from the previous versions. I love the sleek size. I love the kindle up, the candy crush, calendar, and more.

Jim Paredes, musician and writer

I have many passions. It’s mostly about connecting with people through my writing, music and through online activities. It’s hard to choose the best thing I like about it. I like everything about the Samsung Note 3. But if I must choose, I love Air command which makes  writing my ideas down, planning, saving stuff, sharing so easy!

I actually never thought I could “design” my life — and then I had babies.  I used to think that one should always follow in the footsteps of your parents.  But life definitely changes after having kids.  Being responsible for eight children — four stepchildren plus four who came out of my tummy — how can life not change? I soon realized that life is not lived in a square box. I thoroughly participate in the lives of my children, whether it’s in their school, helping them with homework, creating venues to get to know their friends, or just merely spending time to talk to each of them.  My passion in life is in the field of jewelry and helping others.

Olivia D’aboville, artist and designer

I design my life around the opportunities that come along the way. Work has been my priority for the past three years as I am building my career as an artist and designer. But I always manage to dedicate time to travel and spend time with my loved ones.

I determine what is important to me and what makes me happy. Everyone has dreams but you need to be able to turn this dream into a goal to make it a reality. I also make sure that whatever my goal is, it makes not only me happy but also my loved ones. I always make sure that I don’t step on other people just to make my dream a reality.

Erwan Heussaff, restaurateur

I love food, cooking, drinking, fitness, business, concept development, creativity and so many more things. I live them out by seeking them out every day and making sure that they are all answered. I love the multi-tasking functionalities of the Samsung Note 3. From multiple windows to the S pen functions, I can do most of my work on my phone, saving me so much time, so that I can concentrate more on my passions.
