Cool dudes troop with their gals to American Eagle Outfitters

The assortment mixes aquatic blues and teals, electric neons and bright prints perfect for summer. Warm weather plays a big role in the collection with shorts, skirts, dresses, tees and tanks as key items.
For the AEO girl, it’s all about bright sunny colors like lemon lime and shocking pink update tees, tanks and shorts. Tropical florals, Aztec prints, embroideries and crochet add texture to the collection and play back to the festival trend we love so much for summer. Hi Lo dresses in global prints, feminine beading and open, exposed knits add a touch of sexy and are perfect day to night pieces — think beach to tiki bar. Denim continues to ground the collection with bright ankle jeggings, fresh white washes, and a variety of shorts for every look. Light accessories accent the entire assortment with cross body bags, printed scarves, braided leather belts and perfect spring shoes.
The relaxing beach theme carries over to the AEO guy this season too. The California preppy surfer vibe comes to life through printed shorts and cutoffs in neon and washed brights. Preppy striped tees and printed board shorts are perfect for the laid back summer feel. Chambray shirts, mohawk prints and dip-dyed styles play into the festival look in dessert tones and touches of burgundy. Like the girls, denim still plays a key role in shorts and pants with an emphasis on the distressed styles. Accessories are minimal for summer but backpacks, sandals and woven belts are still big accent pieces to the collection.
The Aerie collection also has a nod to the beach this summer. Bright tropical florals and pineapple prints are seen in apparel and undies while stripes and dots also make a fun appearance. Sorbet colors with white are soft and feminine but playful neons are popular as well. In bras the Maddie Multi-way makes her first appearance perfect for all of those bare summer tops.
