MANILA, Philippines - Dusit Thani Manila invites all food lovers to a series of cooking classes at Benjarong this June. Chef Suwanna Puangdee shares her expertise in preparing authentic Thai appetizers, soup and main courses. Cooking Classes will be every Saturday of June from 3 to 5 p.m. The lineup of interesting dishes include: Tom yum gung (hot and sour prawn soup) and gai phad bai krapao (stir fried Minced Chicken with Basil Leaves) on June 8; phad Thai gung (stir fried noodle with prawn, beancrud and beansprout) on June 15; gai phad med mamuang himmapan (sauted chicken with cashew nuts) and kanom tako (sweet water chestnut and coconut cream in pandan cup) on June 22; kaeng phed ped yang (red curry grilled duck) and khao klug kapi (fried rice with shrimp paste) on June 28.
For P1,800 net per person every session, each student will receive an apron, recipe book and certificate from Benjarong. Only limited slots available.
