Reader’s Digest Asia showers Filipinos with prizes

MANILA, Philippines - Reader’s Digest Asia awarded major prizes to three Filipinos who participated in its different Asia-wide online contests. Nasibah Abdulfattah of Marawi City, Lanao del Sur won the US$5,000 (approximately P205,000) cash prize in the August draw of Click4Cash electronic raffle. Earlier in the June draw, another Filipino, Jean Louie Aberin of Malolos City, Bulacan was also picked as winner of the P75,000.

Click4Cash is a monthly prize draw of Reader’s Digest Asia, open to residents of Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong and Taiwan. To be eligible to enter, individuals must visit the Reader’s Digest website, follow the prompts on the promotional entry page, input the requested details and submit the fully-completed entry.

Recently, another Filipino was awarded a major prize. Joella Marie Regalado of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental dominated an online photo contest dubbed “Capture The World Around You” in Reader’s Digest Facebook fan page. Her breath taking sky-diving photo, which was taken on her 18th birthday in Thailand, earned 1,049 likes from different Facebook fans in Asia and was shared by 50 other Facebook users. She received her prize: an Xbox 360 4Gb console with wireless controller and HDMI cable in September.
