Airphil Express launches mobile check-in service

Manila, Philippines -  Travel with Airphil Express is now more convenient for passengers with hand-carried bags. They can now check in their flight through the airline’s free mobile check-in (MCI) service with a smartphone anywhere.

By visiting http://airphilexpress.com/mci within three to 24 hours from their domestic or international flights, Airphil Express passengers can also select their seats and generate boarding passes at their convenience.

The new service spares passengers from long lines at the airport and saves time. They can simply proceed to dedicated mobile and web check-in counters at least 45 minutes from departure, instead of the usual two hours minimum. A passenger must present the e-boarding pass copy, a valid photo ID and copy of the credit card used in purchasing the ticket(s). If the credit card owner is not part of the traveling party, a copy of the cardholder’s valid ID must also be presented.

Checking in via mobile is easy. Just have the following information ready: first name, last name, departure city and the confirmation code. Once logged on, simply follow the prompts and select your preferred seat to create the e-boarding pass. This will be saved and then e-mailed to the passenger’s email address for printing.
