Whether she’s a Domestic Goddess or a Tiger Mom, you know you have to hand out props when May 13 comes around. We took a quick survey asking personalities what their best Mother’s Day was, and what present they would give their mothers to show their appreciation.

Every year ... Mom keeps getting better.
What she’d gift Mom: Sta. Maria Novella products ... I wish she would get into it!

My best Mother’s Day would have to be when I celebrated with my mom and my grandma. We had a grand celebration at home and we even prepared a program with singing, dancing, etc.
What she’d gift Mom: I’d really like to get my mom one of those ultra-modern clocks from Rustan’s. She’s decorating her atelier and I think that would be a fabulous addition that she would truly appreciate.

My best Mother’s Day is when my mom (Ophie) and two kids (Sam and Mart) and I bond over a sumptuous, home-cooked Sunday lunch and just spend a quiet afternoon together.
What she’d gift Mom: I’d give my mom a shopping spree in the Rustan’s ladies’ department so she can pick out an outfit she loves. Plus, we can shop together for more bonding time.

All Mother’s Days are important, and the best one is making sure that you don’t forget the occasion and plan a dinner and gift ahead. The best one is when our full family was in one city last year when my sister came back from Europe for a few weeks. Birthdays may come in on different dates, but all mothers have one birthday.
What he’d gift Mom: A spa package and bubbling foot massager

My best Mother’s Day was the first time my wife celebrated being a mother to our first-born daughter in 2009.
What he’d gift Mom: I think my Mom would always appreciate a nice perfume.

Every year is extremely memorable, because since I had my children, I am with them and with my mom for our special day. Last year was really fun because I was also with our whole family — my two brothers, sister-in-law, and all our kids — always a riot when we all get together. I love that my children make me these cute little cards with doodles of my favorite bags (they try hard, and they get the brand spellings correct!)! I think special occasions like Mother’s Day are best spent with family that you love and cherish, and it doesn’t matter if I receive anything as long as I am with them. It completes me as a person and as a mother!
What she’d gift Mom: My mom loves fragrances and lotions — something she is sure to use. So I’m thinking I will get her a Ralph Lauren Big Pony #2 perfume and a body moisturizer from the Rustan’s beauty counters. It should be fun to navigate the beauty counters — who knows, I’ll also end up with a little something for myself there!
