Baguio-AyalaLand Technohub celebrates the opening of new retail spaces

-

MANILA, Philippines - The retail area of Baguio-AyalaLand TechnoHub launched to the public four more retail clusters at Camp John Hay last April 11. The launch was led by Ayala Land   president   Tony Aquino with commercial business group’s Rowena Tomeldan, vice president and head for operations and support services and assistant vice presidents Javi Hernandez, Tom Mirasol and Ruby Chiong. Also present were Baguio City Administrator Atty. Carlos Canilao; John Hay Management Corp. president and CEO Jaime Eloise Agbayani, and VP and COO Mita Angela Dimalanta; and Camp John Hay Development Corp. EVP and COO Alfredo Yñiguez, III. The Ayala Land team, together with key Ayala Malls partner merchants John Nassr of Pizza Volante, Tetchie Pantaleon of Everything Nice, Raymond Magdaluyo of Seafood Island, Jeannie Yñiguez of 7-Eleven, Anne Estrada-Dabo of Bellfrei Spa, and Pinky Rondez of Nail House, welcomed special guests and Baguio residents to the newly opened retail spaces.

Set amid the soothing landscape of Camp John Hay in a charming cottage-like setting reminiscent of early Baguio, the Baguio-AyalaLand TechnoHub retail area provides residents and visitors with local favorites such as Pizza Volante and Everything Nice. Manila favorites such as Brothers Burger, and FIC Summer Café adds up to the existing mix of dining pleasures such as Starbucks, Yellow Cab, Army Navy, Pancake House, Seafood Island, and Pan de Manila. For those who love the outdoors and enjoy an active lifestyle, the Primer Group brings in to the city these active-fun brands: Brat Pack, Res|Toe|Run and R.O.X. For pampering and wellness needs, shoppers can seek comfort and more relaxing downtime at   Bellfrei Spa and Nail House. The retail area has 7-Eleven, a 24-hour convenience store offering basic items and food-to-go for those who work within the techno hub and nearby residents.

A weekend concert by the Edralin’s, a local band featuring alternative music performed pop hits from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s to the delight of the diners at the retail area.

The Baguio-AyalaLand TechnoHub is a mixed-use integrated community consisting of BPO offices and a retail area in scenic Camp John Hay.

The opening of additional retail outlets completes the first integrated mixed-use development of Ayala Land consisting of offices and a retail component   in Baguio City.
