MANILA, Philippines - Head off to Eastwood City today for non-stop fun and activities in the Easter Wonderland. Top-notch entertainment, exciting games and numerous freebies await all kiddie participants. Now in its fourth staging, Eastwood City brings back Easter Wonderland with this year’s theme “Adventure in Kid City.”
For only P550, kids may register and purchase an Easter Wonderland passport to gain access to eight thematic landmarks, participate in all activities and receive yummy freebies from Eastwood City and its partners. Early registrants will get the chance to paint one of the giant eggs currently on display at the Eastwood Mall Arcade in an egg-painting session mentored by Fernando Sena.
Easter Wonderland will kick off with a grand parade led by Eastwood City’s twin mascots Easter and Woodluck along Eastwood Avenue at 2:30 p.m. All “landmarks” will then open, while Eastwood Mall Open Park will house the “Central Park.” The main program is packed with interesting activities such as storytelling session from the Library of Values, a ballet presentation from the Halili-Cruz School of Ballet, a special number from TV5 and a fireworks display to signal the end of the program and closing of activities.
All the activities in Kid City are designed to provide participants with maximum enjoyment and learning opportunities. Starting at the Central Park, kids will be treated to the main program as well as a hair styling session by Benefits Salon. Over at the City Zoo, kids can enjoy a pony ride or interact with their favorite animals. Aspiring chefs can try the numerous food demonstrations at Food Factory. Techie kids can learn about making robots at the Cyber Lounge, whereas techie kids can learn about the special interactive exhibits of Philippine Science Centrum. Inflatable Avenue is all about fun and enjoyment. Adventurers looking to rest for a bit can head off to the Garden of Sweets and collect free desserts and candies to fuel up for the remainder of the afternoon. The last two worlds introduce different cultures as Lucky Chinatown provides a glimpse of Chinese traditions while Chuckie’s Eduventures encourages the inner explorer in every kid.
Aside from the numerous lineup of activities, prizes and freebies, kids are also encouraged to come dressed as what they want to be when they grow up. Three winners will be chosen for the Best in Costume award during the All Grown-Up Costume Contest.
“With all these activities in store at Eastwood City’s Easter Wonderland, the whole family from the kids to grannie and grandpa can enjoy the festivities of the season,” noted Megaworld FVP and Commercial Division head Kevin Tan.
