It’s no big secret ?that most ?women find ?shopping relaxing, even cathartic, unless it’s Christmas shopping that we’re talking about. It’s difficult enough to find the right gifts for the people that matter most to us without having to take into consideration the fact that we don’t have an unlimited budgets for presents. Although bazaars offer reasonable prices, we run the risk of giving the same things as everybody else. In this case, why not try outlet malls? The problem is, here in the Philippines we only have to two areas with outlet malls: Subic and Clark, Pampanga.
Fortunately, a new outlet destination in the country just opened: Paseo de Santa Rosa. Although the establishment has been open for a while (I have them to thank for my Jollibee stopovers on the way to Tagaytay), it was only recently that they opened up a mall specifically for outlet shopping. Accessible through the Santa Rosa exit (beside the Coca-Cola factory) via SLEX, the area is a reasonable two to three hours from Makati. Here are is a guide to the stores and what types of items you’ll find in each.
