Remedy for sore feet
MANILA, Philippines - Women around the world are in danger of being permanently crippled from wearing high heels and even flats that make the feet ache and sore when worn for long hours in a day.
Flipsters introduces functionality with fashion through its collapsible flip-flops, a lifesaver for women who suffer from sore feet after wearing constraining footwear.
Especially designed with a triangle-folding pattern, these slippers fold when you want them to fold but promise to remain sturdy on the feet. It comes with a custom pouch that is only as big as an iPhone, which allows one to carry it even in a minaudiere.
Creators Ben Lipschitz, a former lawyer, and industrial designer Rick Muntiz witnessed many of their female college friends walking barefoot due to cramps and blisters brought about by walking in heels all day. After a year of research and production, they came up with Flipsters, which was greatly received by style-savvy women.
Flipsters, which comes in four colors (black, white, copper and platinum), is now available in the Philippines — through Primer Group of Companies — at Res|Toe|Run (Glorietta 4, Robisons Galleria, Robinsons Ermita, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, TriNoma, Gateway, Alabang Town Center, Festival Mall in Alabang, Davao, and Cebu), The Travel Club (Shang Mall and Mactan), and Restaurant Outdoor Exchange (Bonifacio High Street and Lady Bag Cebu).
