'Lifestyle Asia' celebrates 24 years with Cirque du Soleil

MANILA, Philippines - Lifestyle Asia celebrates its 24th anniversary with a spectacular show of the Cirque du Soleil, the multi-awarded international troupe, which visits the country for the first time. The event kicks off the countdown to next year’s even grander 25th anniversary.

The issue catches up with Lily Gamboa O’Boyle, who reprises the cover, which she graced 24 years ago. The former thespian, writer and publisher now based in the United States, recently released another coffee table book distributed by National Book Store. She shares about the parallels of tending a garden with significant life lessons in an interview with Cecille Lilles.

Another former Lifestyle Asia cover girl is Lourdes “Tunting” Cruz-Matters, the lady lawyer whose photograph on the January 1995 edition led to a marriage proposal. While home is now also in the US, she remains strongly connected to the country and maintains a thriving law practice both here and abroad.
