MANILA, Philippines- It won’t be a walk in the park, but Rustan’s and diplomats’ spouses will stage a walk on the runway for street children.
On May 24, Rustan’s and the Ambassadors’ Spouses will present a fashion show and charity gala “The Cruise Collection” at Diamond Hotel. All funds that will be raised from this gala event will be given to ChildHope to help them to continue promoting their cause and continue making a difference in the lives of more children. With the generous support of Diamond Hotel, together with Belvedere and Charriol Parfum, guests will see the spouses of ambassadors walk down the runway in labels carried by Rustan’s such as Sinequanone, Façonnable, Tadashi Shoji, and Laundry.
Participating are Argentina’s Marta Otero, Australia’s Leanne Brueckner, Austria’s Yan Donko, Canada’s Cathy Thornley, Chile’s Paulina Mayorga, Cuba’s Maite Perez, EU Delegation’s Margaret Ledoux, Finland’s Eleonora de Strobel-Hannikainen, Greece’s Kostas Kanavariotis, India’s Indira Kumar, Indonesia’s Caecilia Legowo, Iraq’s Nadia Mati, Israel’s Limor Vapni, Italy’s Silvana Novelli Fornari, New Zealand’s Sue Cotton, Norway’s Audhild Solem, Russia’s Elena Kudasheva, Switzerland’s Gracita Tolentino Sieber, and Venezuela’s Silvia Gonzalez Perez.
Founded in 1986, ChildHope Asia Philippines is a non-profit, non-government organization advocating the welfare of street children. Members of this foundation work together to liberate street children from the suffering they experience from living in the streets. Some of ChildHope’s programs include counseling, alternative basic education, mobile health clinic, financial education program, vocational training, skills development, development of leadership and organizational capabilities, and more.
