MANILA, Philippines - Known as the makers of the world’s finest hair brushes, Acca Kappa, helmed by company scion Elisa Gera, has been manufacturing their products the same way they have from the very beginning — working with the same 140-year-old brush factory H. Krull & Co. that’s been crafting their line throughout history.
“We produce our brushes at our factory in Treviso and they are 100 percent made in Italy,” explains Acca Kappa president Elisa Gera. “Their qualities are superlatives since we used the finest raw materials combined with the workmanship techniques and attention to the details.”
“The variations of the brushes are immense and they meet the differing needs of the consumers. Easy to be used every day, the wooden Pneumatic Paddle brush is ideal for disentangling and styling the hair, together with the very nice travel size, too.”
Acca Kappa, while known for its hair tools, is renowned for their fragrance line. “The worldwide best-seller is our White Moss Eau de Cologne,” says Gera. “It is a harmonious blend of sweet sensual notes, light wood amber and moss, an elegant and refined scent for women and men.”
“In the Acca Kappa range, there are some exclusive floral scents such as the Calycanthus, Rose, Wisteria, Hibiscus, and Magnolia,” adds Gera. “There are citrus scents such as the upcoming Green Mandarin. Musky and spicy scents are the 1869, the Cedar and the White Moss. Last but not least, there’s the very special Blue Lavender EdC that contains Arabian incense and Moroccan rosemary that could be used both for women and men.”
“My favorite one is the White Moss Eau de Cologne,” she says. “My husband loves both the 1869 and the Cedar. For my daughter, Virginia, I selected the delicate Rose Eau de Cologne.”
