Asiana boosts airport services in Korea
MANILA, Philippines - Asiana Airlines (OZ) with headquarters in Incheon International Airport will embark on its “Grand Welcome Service” campaign in three stages across all airports that Asiana operates in worldwide.
“When a customer first starts his or her airline journey they meet the airline staff first at their departure airport. In order to continue their warm greetings with airline staff, we have developed and started our Grand Welcome campaign. With these services, we will aid in attracting 10 million foreign visitors to Korea,” said Asiana Airlines airport services senior vice president Joo Yong-Suk.
Asiana will also roll out another service in connection with its “Happy Mom Services” in Korean domestic airports. Travelers with infants will be provided baby carriage covers with buffer pads to preserve cleanliness and to protect it from damage. About 150 baby carriages are transported in domestic flights daily.
Asiana started its “Happy Mom Services” in October 2009, which included services like dedicated exclusive check-in counters for travelers with infants. Asiana was also the first in the industry to provide free breastfeeding covers and free baby sling services in their cabins. Some 40,000 passengers have used the service’s exclusive check-in counters and 5,000 passengers have used the free breastfeeding covers.
