Mandarin Oriental's P500,000 wedding proposal
MANILA, Philippines - Mandarin Oriental, Manila announces the beguilingly named “Our Wedding Proposal” promotion – with chance to win a free P500,000 wedding reception in a raffle draw, and an invitation to a spectacular bridal fair on March 20 and 21.
“Delighting our guests is our mission,” says the hotel’s general manager Mark Bradford, “and ‘Our Wedding Proposal’ is designed to reward our customers whose confidence in us inspires us to outdo ourselves, particularly when it comes to such milestone celebrations.”
The half million peso banquet to be given away covers food and beverage, room accommodation and other amenities offered in the hotel’s various wedding packages. In addition to the grand prize, awaiting lucky couples are secondary prizes consisting of hotel vouchers for a weekend stay at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Club, and dinner for two at The Tivoli. To qualify for the raffle, the wedding banquet must be held between May 1, 2010 and December 31, 2011, and confirmed with the hotel on or before April 15, 2010.
A weekend bridal fair set for March 20 and 21 in the hotel’s ballroom serves as launch for Our Wedding Proposal. The event is held with the support of Citibank, Max Factor, Elizabeth Arden, Shiseido, Rustan Marketing Corporation, Rustan Commercial Corporation, RCBC E-Woman, Grepalife and Lifestyle Network. It is certain to dazzle couples-to-be with showcases of the hotel’s new designer wedding themes and tablescapes, sumptuous culinary delights, tempting wedding cakes and services by other providers. The ballroom will assume the look of an English garden, filled with tastefully styled flora, topiaries and greens.
During the bridal fair, Mandarin Oriental will present its four custom-themed weddings, including the exclusive Monique Lhuillier-designed table collection by Royal Doulton. A display of designer bridal gowns, moreover, is sure to catch the attention of brides-to-be. Guests can as well sample the hotel’s culinary fare and view new wedding cake selections. Also participating in the event will be mobile entertainment suppliers, videography and photography services, among other wedding-related services.
Individual consultations on auspicious dates and a talk by feng shui master Joseph Chau are among the activities offered during the fair, which also will include talks on bridal beauty by Max Factor, Elizabeth Arden and LuxAsia.
