MANILA, Philippines - Rock solid. Full of love. Awesome.” That’s how Trina Sunico describes her 10-year relationship with Ed Pasion.
The couple first met back in college when they were introduced through common friends. “It was her flawless white skin that made me fall in love with her the first time we met,” reveals Ed, VP for marketing at E-Games Philippines. Ed admits he was even more drawn to Trina because of her down-to-earth attitude and her love for kids and babies. But for Trina, VP for operations at Trikkis International Trading Corp, it was Ed’s warm smiling eyes that drew her to him. She recalls, “When we were still getting to know each other, I found Ed super sweet and he really took care of me and looked after me even if we were just friends.”
Last January 16, the couple celebrated their 10-year romance by exchanging vows at Santuario de San Antonio Forbes, Makati. The church was adorned with flowers by Pat Pastelero of Spruce Floral Designs as Ed eagerly awaited his bride in his JC Buendia tuxedo. “I knew I couldn’t imagine my life without him,” Trina shares about Ed. The bride floated down the aisle in a beautiful gown by Manila’s favorite designer Rhett Eala. Trina looked even more radiant thanks to makeup artist Denise Go-Ochoa.
The wedding rites were officiated by Fr. Mak Reyes and Fr. John Lucas. And after exchanging their “I do’s,” the couple sealed the ceremony with a kiss. “It just hit me one day. I woke up and told myself I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her already,” Ed recalls.
“Unique. Amazing. A gift from heaven.” That’s how Ed Pasion describes his lifetime partnership with Trina Sunico.
