MANILA, Philippines - Everything magical and fun will come together to make wishes come true in “The Fairly OddParents: Wishology!” event presented by Nickelodeon from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Dec. 6 at SM Mall of Asia’s Music Hall.
In “Wishology!” — the first-ever “The Fairly OddParents” trilogy — Nicksters can follow Timmy in his adventures as he becomes “the chosen one” whose task is to defeat “The Darkness” before it destroys planet Earth. An episode of the trilogy airs on the channel at 6 p.m. every Friday. In the opening episode, Timmy faces his biggest challenge and is taken on a wild adventure from Dimmsdale to Fairy World to Las Vegas and beyond in search of the magical wand. This is followed by Wishology: The Exciting Middle Part where Timmy learns how to defeat The Darkness and battles with The Eliminators. The trilogy concludes with Wishology: The Final Ending in which, after his adventures, Timmy returns to Dimmsdale to find that his home is actually an illusion and he is now living inside The Darkness.
The wild, whirlwind multi-part adventure features cameos by famed Kiss band members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, and actors Brendan Fraser (The Mummy) and Patrick Warburton (Rules of Engagement). It pays homage to blockbuster Hollywood films by parodying classics such as The Matrix, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Terminator.
Such a big-bang, on-air adventure is matched with an intergalactic on-the-ground event of epic proportions. Thus, a culminating event of the same name will be held at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia on Dec. 6. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Nicksters can enjoy an afternoon of awesome entertainment, complete with cool segments where they can learn how to make snow and smoke rings, a funky fashion show, special celebrity appearances plus other exciting onstage games. As an added treat, Nicksters who missed the airing of the thrilling trilogy on the Nickelodeon channel will be given a chance to catch it via a special airing at Timmy’s Screening Room.
For “Wishology!” tickets, check out The Fairly OddParents game booth, Poof! Balls Chamber, located in front of the Music Hall at the Ground Floor of SM Mall of Asia. At the game booth, Nicksters will be asked to help Timmy collect the golden wands in order for them to win a “Wishology!” ticket.
