It's Halloween at Toys 'R' Us
MANILA, Philippines - Halloween isn’t just about ghouls and ghosts. It could also be about fantasy.
Toys “R” Us brings you the two faces of Halloween — the “spooky” and the whimsical. Parents can dress up their little ones in the creepiest attire or in fanciful and fabulous gowns. There is a frightfest in Robinsons Midtown and a Fantasy B-ball event in Robinsons Galleria. Choose the category where you want to join — spooky or fantasy- and have the time of your life!
But first up, take the Nerf Survival Challenge using Nerf, that neon-colored foam-based weaponry. Bring your blasters to Toys “R” Us NERF Survival Challenge Tour on Oct 25. Set at the Midtown Atrium in Robinsons Place Ermita, Nerf buffs will love to shoot Nerf foam bullets at the spooky challenge booths namely Monster Feeder, Sharpshooter and the Monster Hunter. Draw out your dart guns and get set to shoot at the “Push to the Limit” booth and delight in the demos and Nerf target ranges, activity booths (such as the face-painting station). Check out the featured Nerf items for sale including the Nite Finder EX-3, Maverick Rev-6, Vulcan Cor-25 and Recon CS-6, to name a few and enjoy the Gift with Purchase promo. There will be a Toy Vault and cos-players too! So be the best urban Nerf legend there is and join the Nerf Survival Challenge Tour.
Side by side with Nerf’s Survival Challenge are Trick “R” Treat and Kiddie Costume Competition at the Midtown Atrium. Come in your spookiest, most frightening costumes and register at Toys “R” Us in Robinsons Midtown Atrium from 10a.m. onward on Oct. 25. A purchase of any Halloween item from Toys “R” Us gives you special treats and freebies and entitles you to join the contest.
Now if masks and monsters are enough to send you screaming in Midtown, Toys “R” Us has a sweet treat any young miss shouldn’t miss in Robinson Galleria. It’s time to take out your tiaras, bejeweled headdresses and your most beautiful ball gowns. Join Barbie’s Pink Fairytale Costume Ball on Halloween, Oct. 31 at the Robinsons Galleria Activity Center.
Little princesses will love the Barbie-inspired playroom, photo walls and onstage activities. There will even be a Barbie Museum and a Barbie costume parade! Check out the Barbie items at Toys “R” Us. And for every P300 worth of purchase of these items (single-receipt) from Oct. 13 to 31, get a free invite to Barbie’s fantasy ball. Then register at Toys “R” Us wearing your best Halloween Costume and join the Trick “R” Treat parade around the mall. Fill your loot bags with candies, toys and other goodies courtesy of participating mall stores.
Meanwhile, Toys “R” Us stores at the Robinsons malls — Galleria, Ermita, Metroeast, Lipa, Bacolod and Ayala malls — TriNoma Mall, Alabang Town Center and Marquee Mall in Pampanga, will stage Halloween pocket events with magicians, face paint and other kiddie activities in-store on Oct. 30 and 31.
