Country fair at The Flower Farm

-

MANILA, Philippines - Make Mother’s Day really special by planning a trip to The Flower Farm on May 1 and 2 for the Country Fair to enjoy a weekend filled with flowers, food and a lineup of fun activities.

Explore the lush seven-hectare farm situated in the cool mountains of Tagaytay. The Flower Farm houses over hundreds of varieties of vibrantly colored cutflowers, plants, herbs and trees that range from pine, teak santostemon, golden and green melaluca, to Australian fern.

Among the activities are shopping for a wide variety of potted plants, organic vegetables and herbs, and freshly harvested gerberas and chrysanthemums; as well as handcrafted gift items and home accessories from local artisans and merchants.

Delightful food selections and refreshments from Via Mare and other concessionaires will also be available. Flower arrangement, dish garden design and gardening demonstrations are scheduled to help nurture budding green thumbs. There’s even a mini al fresco painting session with participating artists. Moms can also join makeover sessions while makeup artist Lindsay Sun-Bustamante will share tips on how moms can get a fresh and updated look.

The Flower Farm Corporation is one of the largest professional cutflower growers in the Philippines. Since 1987, it has pioneered in the introduction of new cutflower varieties, floral arrangement styles and trends in the Philippines. The Flower Farm has harvested millions of cutflowers and foliage that have gone into beautiful arrangements and bouquets for over two decades.

The Flower Farm’s gates are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entrance fees are at P112 per person. For information, call The Flower Farm at 840-3914 and 815-6665/67 and 68.
