A night of angelic voices at LRI Design Plaza
MANILA, Philippines - LRI Design Plaza celebrates its 5th anniversary with “A Night of Angelic Voices” featuring premier soprano Rachelle Gerodias on March 28, 6:30 p.m. at the LRI Pavilion, 2/F LRI Design Plaza located at 210 Nicanor Garcia St., (formerly Reposo St.), Bel Air II, Makati City.
“A Night of Angelic Voices” will also feature the UST (University of Santo Tomas) Singers under the musical direction of maestro Fidel Calalang.
Rachelle’s repertoire includes Piangero from the opera Giulio Cesare George by Frederick Handel; O del mio amado ben, Freschi luogi prati and Spirate by Stefano Donaudy; German Lied Widmung, Liebeslied, Intermezzo by Robert Schumann; Hello, hello from The Telephone by Gian Carlo Menotti, Donde lieta usci from La Boheme by Giaccomo Puccini, So anch io la virtu magica from Don Pasquale by Gaetano Donizetti; Iyo Kailan Pa Man by Anghel Pena; Kundiman ng Luha by Nicanor Abelardo and Sa Kabukiran by Manuel Velez. Well-known pianist Najib Ismail shall accompany Gerodias in her repertoire.
LRI Design Plaza has become the design hub for upcoming and established designers of many disciplines with over 40 showrooms featuring world-class Philippine-made furniture, furnishings, carpets, lighting systems, antiques, paintings, modular kitchen systems, fabrics/coverings, photography and interior design studios. In addition are leisure establishments such as restaurants, foot spa, yoga studio and a dance studio.
