Whats your favorite item in your closet?

Closets are fascinating. Show me your closet and Ill show you what kind of a shopper you are. Some people wear the same thing over and over again despite their huge wardrobe, while some acquire new things, put them at the back of their closet and then forget about them. Its interesting to note that peoples favorites range from items with sentimental value to those that are simply comfortable.

Savannah Lumen, singer: Ive actually been living out of a suitcase for several months now, so my favorite item isnt coming from my closet, but my luggage. Id have to say my favorite is a Gentle Fawn jacket. Its from an LA-based brand (LA being what I call home). That jacket has become a security blanket of sorts to me. Its familiarity fills me with a sense of home even when far, far away from it.
Chicho Suarez, graphic designer: My white Top Shop tank tops and white Viktor jeans. There are many things in my closet that are maybe more flamboyant or have a more commanding designer name attached to them, but I find that these basics are like second skin, everyday comfort clothes that make you feel fresh and light.
Sharon Azanza, businesswoman: Right now, my favorite items in my closet rather, drawers are an assortment of old, wooden hand-carved bangles from the 70s, which belonged to my mother. They are so intricate: some are hand-carved and others have metal and leather inlays. They are special to me since they belonged to my mom who passed away some months ago and were among the things that my sister set aside for me from my mothers closets. I have been wearing them constantly as they remind me of my mom and they complete this seasons boho chic look!
Geni Psinakis, businesswoman: My favorite item in my closet is a pair of jeans. My current favorite is Paige Premium Denim. I practically live in jeans. Since I use them so often, I am always on the lookout for new denim brands and styles, and Im crazy about this one right now. The fit and color is great, and since they have a tiny bit of stretch in them, theyre really comfortable, too.
Les Romero, businessman: I enjoy the look of crisp, collared shirts neatly arranged. No specific favorite, except I like to collect long and short sleeves in various shades and styles.
Kenji Marquez, commercial model: My worn-out, torn-up Levis engineered jeans. They feel good and I know no one else has their jeans torn in the same way.
GP Reyes, GPR Advertising events and public relations creative director: Wow! Thats a tough one. Ive often joked that when I do get married, Im going to be fighting with my wife for closet space. But seriously, I would have to say my ultimate fave is the Louis Vuitton keep-all travel bag. Its 12 years old! I can have a kid that age! And beyond its monogrammed surface is a really sturdy, resilient travel companion thats taken me through countless trips without any sign of disrepair.
Nicole Hernandez, commercial model: My fave item right now is an evening bag that my great-grandmother once owned. She gave it to my mum, and Im now claiming it as mine! Very elegant and classic. Its all black with a gold clasp.
Robi Lolin, fashion designer: My white tees! Theyre so comfortable; they make me feel clean and fresh the whole day, too. They go perfectly with my funky belts and distressed jeans.
