First district of Quezon City Congressman Bingbong Crisologo: Siempre maglaro ng basketball. I had the chance to play when I was inside prison for lack of anything else to do but I was already 25. The best time to learn basketball would have been during my younger years.
Senator Pia Cayetano, avid biker: I have always wanted to learn martial arts. I started many years ago but never persued them. Martial arts training is a great workout, besides I think every woman should be able to defend herself. The other skill I would like to learn is stenography and short hand. Its just a skill that is handy when Im jotting down my thoughts and taking down notes, which I do a lot. I have my own shortcuts but they could stand improvement.
Ana Abad Santos-Bitong, stage actress: Something I can do with my hands painting, gardening or sculpting. I want to be able to go to a secret hideaway with my family for months and indulge in quiet creativity.
Charisse Chuidian, director of communications, Mandarin Oriental Manila: There are many skills that I wish I could learn, foremost is cooking. I have said it much too often (and regrettably have not done much about it) that it is beginning to sound like a mantra. It is a shame that it is only this late in my life that I discovered cooking as a form of expression, and that the rewards of being able to cook, are limitless. Beyond the self-fulfillment that cooking brings, there is the fulfillment (not just in the literal sense) and joy that I give to loved ones.
Isay Alvarez, TV and stage actress: Right now Id love to learn to read notes and play the piano well. I want to be able to read and sing songs by just looking at a piece. I would also love to teach singing.
Pazzy Navarro, designer, Hot Momma/makeup artist/model: I wish I could have learned to be a skilled surgeon so that I could help people especially children who are afflicted with diseases. I would do it for free as a way of thanking God for my good health.
