A Hidden Hideaway

Beneath the cascading vines of yellow bells bedecked with its flowers is a modest hideaway, a shop with a green canopy--- for flowers,freshness, and relaxation. Hidden from the bustling busyness of Eastwood City and the noise and traffic jam-packed stretch of upbeat Libis. It is there in the midst of all these and yet not quite there.

Just a few steps away from the tiny, cozy flower shop is an equally tiny but very invigorating garden of greens and blooms.Ready to warmly welcome guests by the bounty of ferns, palms, ivy, basil, rosemary and oregano.

Crowning the trellises that enveloped the space are tiny but proliferous vines of bridal showers, red butterflies, and honeysuckle that look like girl’s headdress of blooms up there.

If and when in season, the guests will be treated to the fragrance of champaca, rosal, and kamuning flowers, dama del dia and in the evening, dama de noche, while being serenaded by chirping of love birds in various colors and the tingling call of wind chimes of assorted designs, sizes and sounds.

The sound of gushing water from man-made fountains and waterfalls conspicuously adds freshness to the place without pretension and limits.

Nearby are few clusters of wrought iron tables and chairs where one can enjoy tea or coffee along with home-made oat meal cookies and muffins.

The natural, cool breeze around especially during nighttime, knowing you are in the midst of a noisy metropolis, is a welcoming respite to tired body and soul.The Gardener’s Bounty is very much into flower arranging and designing, developing an eye for practical but attractive color combinations and textures,but more importantly making someone feel he or she is very special.
